Zero Waste Lab
In 2018, The New Raw launched the first full-scale pilot of Print Your City and established the Zero Waste Lab in Thessaloniki, Greece. This interactive recycling hub was equipped with a robotic arm and recycling facilities, inviting citizens to take an active role in the circular economy. Visitors could bring their plastic waste, design custom urban furniture, and witness the transformation of discarded materials into functional public objects. By implementing advanced technologies at a local level, the Zero Waste Lab successfully closed the plastic waste loop, promoting sustainability, innovation, and community engagement in urban environments.
