XXX Bench
The XXX Bench is our first design created specifically for the Municipality of Amsterdam as a proof of concept for sustainable urban furniture from locally sourced plastic waste. Each bench weighs 50 kg—the equivalent of the annual plastic waste produced by two Amsterdam residents. Designed as a rocking chair for two, it highlights the importance of collaboration in both design and recycling. By transforming waste into a functional and playful seating experience, the XXX Bench demonstrates that recycling can be engaging and impactful.
